The Down's Syndrome it is a chromosome abnormality that occurs in 1.3 out of every 1,000 births. For reasons that are still unknown, an error in the development of the fertilized egg leads to the formation of 47 chromosomes instead of the 46 that normally develop. Excess genetic material slightly changes the regular development of the baby's body and brain.

Children with Down syndrome have a great variety of personalities, learning styles, intelligence levels, appearances, and sense of humor.
On the other hand, Down syndrome gives children a particular physical appearance that is characterized by almond-shaped eyes and small ears and slightly bent at the top. Their mouths and lips are usually small, which makes the tongue appear large. The nose may also be small and sunken between the eyebrows.
