Broccoli puree. This puree is aimed at babies over 8 months. To prepare it, we will need 100 gr. broccoli, half a potato, virgin olive oil. Wash, peel and chop the broccoli and potato. Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the broccoli and potato pieces and half a glass of water. Cook them until they are tender. Add a little milk and mix everything until you get a fine and homogeneous paste.

Mashed Cauliflower. In general, this puree is indicated for babies 7 to 8 months old. To do this, we will need a potato, half a cauliflower, water and a glass of milk. We must clean the cauliflower well, leaving only the flowers and boil them in the water together with the potato pieces and the milk, until it is tender. Beat everything in the mixer.

Spinach puree. Unless the baby's pediatrician says otherwise, this puree can be consumed by the baby from 6 or 8 months. We will need half a cup of spinach leaves, a medium potato, 2 teaspoons of butter, breast milk or formula, and a pinch of salt. Cook the potato until it is soft. Peel and crush them. In a skillet heat the butter, add the spinach and sauté them. Mix the spinach with the potato and beat everything with the milk. It is done.

Pea puree. Babies will generally be ready to try this puree starting at 5 months of age. To make it we will need 1 can of peas or 100 gr. of fresh or frozen peas, a potato, onion and salt. Mix all the ingredients in a saucepan and let them cook for about 15 minutes. Then, pass everything through the blender, wait to cool and serve.

Wild asparagus puree. If the pediatrician agrees, the baby can try this puree from 6 months. To do this we will need 3 asparagus, a glass of milk and half a potato. Use only the tips of green or white asparagus. Steam them until tender, while the potato is cooked in a saucepan. Then, beat the cooked asparagus and potato together with the milk until we get a very smooth mixture.

Green bean puree. Babies can try this puree, usually from 6 months of age. For this, you need 100 gr. green beans, 50 gr. potato, milk and water. Peel and cut the beans and potato into pieces, and cook everything together with the water for about 15 minutes. Add a little milk and beat everything until you get a homogeneous cream.

Fruit porridges. The jars or compotes are easy to carry and have a very wide variety of flavors that babies like. They are ideal for feeding the baby when the family has to take a trip or eat out. The baby food is ready to drink. Remember that once opened, they should be kept in the fridge and not for more than 48 hours.

Chicken puree. Chicken is the first meat that is introduced into the baby's diet, by the sixth month of life. Fish puree. From 10 months, fish can be added to the baby's diet. Better start with the white fish (hake, sea bass, sea bream ...), and steam it. After cooking, we must chop it and then add its pieces to a vegetable puree. Be very careful with thorns.

Pure lentils. From 15 months, or as prescribed by your pediatrician, the baby can begin to try legumes. To make this puree you need 3 or 4 tablespoons of lentils, 1 potato, 1 carrot and oil. First sauté with oil and then cook the potatoes and carrots. When it is soft, add the lentils, and when it is ready, beat everything until it is a homogeneous cream.
